Torre Marino
The construction of the imposing building was begun in the early 1800s by Marino Tranfo, noble Tropean, where was the “cavallara station”, in the sixteenth century, as known as the building where horses and riders lived that had the task of warning the population of the districts that could not be warned by the signals of the coastal towers at the time of the Saracen raids.
The building was embellished and completed by his son Carlo, change the name in Torre Marino in honor of his father.
The church of Torre Marino was built in 1906, replacing the one on the ground floor in the building overlooking at the square .
